Welcome to the Texas State Reading Association - February 2010

The TSRA website is undergoing new and exciting changes. The website will soon have areas which may be accessed by guests as well as restricted areas for members only. If you are a TSRA member, you may access the website by going to the LOGIN section at the bottom left of the HOME page.

Enter your TSRA member number as the USERNAME and your last name (all lower case) as thePASSWORD. Click logon and you will be able to access the member's only areas of the website.

For over 30 years, the primary purpose of TSRA has been to improve the level of literacy quality in the State of Texas. TSRA, the state affiliate of the International Reading Association, works to stimulate and promote research and new developments for teachers and students.

 
TSRA State Conference Information

Save the date!  The 39th Annual TSRA Literacy Conference is scheduled for November 4-6, 2010 in beautiful San Antonio, Texas!  Check back in January for more details!

REMINDER - IRA Exemplary Reading Program Award
The Exemplary Reading Program Award is sponsored by the International Reading Association to recognize outstanding reading and language arts programs at all grade levels (elementary, middle, and high school). Its purpose is to call the public’s attention to outstanding programs in schools throughout North America. Each participating state and province may choose one winning school.
